Bad haircut?

the lady cut my hair way too short! I'm 17, but she gave me a mom haircut! I see this guy in a week for one day only, and not for a while after that...I want to make a good impression without looking like mel from flight of the conchords! (which is sadly, exactly my hairstyle.) HELP?!?!?!?
