Please can you help me? I have a Charles hoover, brother to Henry?

Can anyone advise me please on what exactly is required to convert him back to a wet & dry model, i bought him reconditioned, but he has only been reconditioned to dry, i know there is a float valve system, but is this all i need? Many thanks in advance for your help.
