Bad feelings towards my best friend, what should I do?

I live in New York and work as a a jetbus conductor for the New York Rapid Transit Corporation. My best friend, Magnessen, works with me and lives in a little apartment just a block away from mine. The other day Magnesses had commented on how well I looked and it set me ablaze. What business was it of Magnessen's how I looked? Damned busybodies, always spoiling things for everybody... Magnessen, a noisy, overbearing oaf! I understand that I am not right to be so nervous about his chanced remark, and I understand that it's not right to brood on it, thinking how I can pay him back. Something is wrong with me, I know. I am choleric in temperament, but even for me it's out of limits. What should I do, how can I stop being angry with Magnessen and inventing a revenge?
