How can I get a guy to STOP liking me?

There's this boy in my cl that sits right next to me in homeroom. It's not that he's ugly or anything. He's just REALLY irritating. Every morning, the first thing he says to me is "You like me, yeah?". Yes, he's very self centered, one of the reasons I sort of hate him. He seems to think everyone is in LOVE with him, or something. Anyway, he just makes me feel really uncomfortable. How do I get him to stop?
