Your information is incorrect.. At the time Christian churches were forming only the Bishops were aloud to read and teach the bible, the congregation was not to own or read scriptures themselves. It was not because of people being illiterate, your making and uneducated umption to prove a one sided argument. The concept of donation was followed until later in the development of Christian faith. And your argument about church leaders having more wealth than Jesus is just silly, Jesus had no money he lived and poor life..
