What is this movie...? o-o?

I remember like years ago I watched this movie and it had this guy that looked weird and you thought he was good at first and there was this little girl and he told the little girl if she put this doll thing under her moms bed that her mom would be healthy when she gave birth to her baby brother but her dad saw and burned it in the fireplace and then at the end the weird guy wanted her to give him the baby brother but she wouldn't :P I don't know what it was called
